Case studies in prototyping
Prototyping.club is a repository of case studies in prototyping. Our site is heavy with examples from the world of technology, but we welcome any suggestions at editor@prototyping.club.
Prototyping is a means to explore possible answers to an open design problem in an iterative manner. By quickly turning ideas into things that can be tried, and exploring a very broad range of ideas before pursuing sustained work in a single direction - for example to commercialize a product - prototyping enables assumptions to be tested, and higher quality, more innovative, and more diverse solutions.
Our hope is that this site will contribute to convincing people new to prototyping of the value of this approach, as well as providing practicing prototypers with inspiration for their future work.
